I got WRONG information from a 311 operator. I am having a serious problem with my neighbor. I called 311 to ask for City Mediation services. I was told there were no city mediation services available thru the city. Furthermore, I was told if I wanted mediation I would have to find someone and I would be responsible for the cost. I started to serach the internet and discovered The Community Mediation website through the City of Albuquerque. Services are provided free of charge. This isn't the first time I have gotten wrong information, but this is the most disturbing. This could have led to serious consequences to my safety by being given wrong information. My neighbor is explosive and worry what she will do next. I am in the process of asking for help through the city. Thank goodness for MY research.
