How about if the dump was free. Then people would most likely take their stuffs there. But I guess it is too good of the business.
we end up paying twice with our tax dollars. We pay city employees and then I assume the city pays the dump too.

The city placed dumpsters in various neighborhoods several months ago, they published it in the paper and of course it was filled with trash from people coming from outside the area. They should place the dumpsters where we need them here in West Oakland and not publish the locations. Seems like it would be cheaper to remove dumpsters than to send out work crews to clean garbage spread all over the streets.
