Thank you for reporting this concern to us. In turn, we have reported the condition to the utilities that have equipment on this pole. Con Edison completed their work some time ago. What remains are the telecom utilities. I have communicated with Verizon who reports that the other utilities (3) must complete their work prior to Verizon transferring their transmission lines, and then removing the broken pole. Verizon is always last through agreement with all utilities. I have made another inquiry today to find out where we stand in this process. The PD will respond today to see if in fact the pole has moved since our last visit. We will continue to push to have this resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Through our utility contacts, we have learned that three of the telecom carriers have contracted with one independent utility repair company to have their lines moved over from the broken pole to the new pole. Once that is complete, Verizon will move their wires over, and remove the broken pole. I asked for a date of completion, but they were not able to provide one. We will continue to monitor this and urge for repairs to be done as soon as possible.

Hi, in response to our requests for assistance, Verizon has cabled the broken pole to the new pole with steel cable. While this certainly is not a resolution, it does provide assurance that the broken pole will not fall. We continue to contact the other telecom carriers regularly and press them to resolve this condition expediently and completely. We still have not been provided with a date of completion. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will persevere and continue to push as much as we can. Thank you, Peter.

Good morning, Not sure why this was closed. In any event, Crown Castle and Altice have moved their equipment over. We are now waiting on BestWeb/Firstlight. I am in contact with them to move things along. When I receive information from BestWeb, I will post it here. Thank you for your patience.
