This traffic light may benefit from a computerized traffic counting and averaging system which would automatically provide the best light timing based on past and present traffic patterns.
I have the ability within my family of designing and programming such a system in case one does not exist elsewhere. It is a lot simpler and less expensive than one might think to create "Smart" traffic lights.
