This issue has NOT been fixed! Are you telling me that Inspector Bragg actually came out? The bricks are still there. Right now they are stacked against the "planter" because I moved them, but they will be in the middle of the sidewalk soon enough. And there are 3 men in the convalescent home in wheelchairs.

I am very disappointed. Should I report this issue to another department? My Supervisor? It's unclear. I thought this was the agency that takes care of these issues. I took more pictures that I am happy to proved you with. You will see that this issue has definitely not been resolved.

Thank you for your comments. I have contacted SF311 to request information on which other agencies would respond to this complaint. I was informed the Bureau of Urban Forestry could possibly be an appropriate agency. I have left 3 voicemail messages there with no response. You're telling me that bricks laying on a sidewalk in front of a building is an Urban Forestry issue?! I don't care about the planters or the plants. It's the bricks on the ground in the front of a building (the planters are on the sidewalk in front of the building) -- dangerous as they seem to wind up in the middle of the sidewalk. I have tripped over one before. AND it's blight! I seriously doubt this has anything to do with Urban Forestry.

Thanks so much! Had this issue not been going on for months (at least 6), I wouldn't have contacted anyone. This building houses a lot of younger roommate types -- does not seem to have an owner on site to contact -- so they tend to not take care of issues. It took months to get them to take their trash cans in after pickup (they would just leave them in the middle of the sidewalk).
