Owner or tenants really need to step up here. Worst five feet in the neighborhood with regard to trash.

I live a block away but I'm tired of seeing so much litter there, so I went over and cleaned it up tonight. You should see a noticeable difference tomorrow when you go by there. Unfortunately, so many people in this city have a liberal mindset that the government or someone else should do everything for us. If each person took care of their property, what a different city it would be. And it's not necessarily about $$$ -- it's more about pride and motivation.

Thanks very much, Scott. I constantly pick up trash on my block and agree 100% with what you are saying. My goal here is to get the attention of the owner or the tenants to say that they need to keep up with this and do the right thing. Moreso, the trash that originates there ends up blowing down the surrounding blocks.

Matt, thanks for keeping your area clean as well. If trash builds up in front of 764 S. 23rd Street again, I will leave notes in their mailboxes and try to locate the landlord.

This is an ongoing issue. Was a bunch of trash there this morning.

The landlord or tenants have made strides here. It's a tought spot, hope they continue to monitor it.
