According to an article written in 05/09/2023 in the CT News Junkie, New Haven received $115,073 for the first six months of 2023, which was the highest in CT. Under a program in CT used to fund environmental projects through a 5-cent surcharge on small 50mL liquor bottles, cities receive these funds. It would be interesting to know how exactly these funds are utilized in New Haven?
