Canon Ave is narrow where it meets MacArthur at a 6-way stoplight intersection. Cars that come towards the intersection from Canon often stop at the light in the middle of the narrow street, blocking the way for vehicles trying to turn on to Canon Ave. from MacArthur. This creates dangerous situations with stopped cars in the middle of the large intersection. To show drivers on Canon that they need to be far over to the right, we need a painted yellow strip in the middle of the street for ~25 feet near the intersection on Canon Ave. This will create a lane line for cars approaching the intersection and keep cars on their respective sides of the road.
