Honestly, there are plenty of measures in place, including lines and 4 different bright yellow pedestrian crossing signs. Can't really miss it, but people use this as a cut through between Western Blvd and Tryon and just fly through here without paying attention.

Maybe an occasional cruiser presence around 5-7 PM on a pretty day when there are lots of pedestrians on the approach to Lake Johnson.

We are conducting a speed study and will provide an update soon.

We had a speed study performed at this location and we had compliance with the speed limit through this location. We are currently revising how we sign greenway crossings at parks. This location will receive some additional signage over the next couple of months as the City adopts a new greenway policy.
