Sorry for your frustration.
I live not far within the Ansonia side having to use the entire stretch of Colony more than a few times a week for egress. It is unfortunate that I have an Insurance policy & private lawyer involved with full documentation isolating and tracing the fact my auto suspension and alloy wheel on my vehicle were severely damaged due to some major hazards in the subject roadway. The town can pay due diligence now or keep paying legal costs later when a notice of appearance is served. Sorry.......taxes X 10 is the formula for neglected roads and zero federal & state funding. Ansonia has earmarked dollars to revamp roads and sidewalks ASAP.
