Literally no one stops at these. I lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and now my mother lives there and it only gets worse with time. People cut down Vilsmeier to avoid 309 traffic, but often with little consideration to traffic laws and the pedestrians who walk on the street (no sidewalks) there. I have been almost hit several times there while visiting and going for a walk.
