When you sit at a normal traffic light, you wait for only the cross traffic to cycle through on the light. At this intersection, when you sit on Powell St, you have to wait for 3 other cycles. Both directions on Elm run separately and then Swede St runs in both directions. That makes the wait time seem abnormally long.

Cars have it pretty bad here at this inner-section, PEDs have it bad too because the crosswalk signs never change correctly. if you need to cross you have to play FROGGER or you will have to wait almost 20mins ( i did this once on a walk i was talking one day, had plenty of time to sit and wait.) Not only that, there is a school down the street, they are lucky @ school times they get help but other then that, they have to fend for themselves!
