If you want bike lanes, then I am all for forcing bikes to register like automobiles and pay an annual license plate fee to cover the costs of these unnecessary and luxurious bike lanes. Roads are meant for motor vehicles that can travel at the posted speed; not for joy riders that want to block traffic and become a hazard to themselves and motorists. You want bike lanes? Pay the taxes to build those lanes!
