Ayd Mill Road has been deteriorating for years. Over the past two or three years it has gotten so bad that the routine "fix" of filling the potholes is a waste of time and money. Filling them lasts a very short time and new ones erupt daily. There are literally hundreds of them. I would like to know when there will be a real fix for this road. I would happily deal with the frustration of a road closure for a long-term fix than the very real car damage and accidents risked to travel that road on a daily basis. The City chose long ago to connect 35E to Ayd Mill Road. It has an obligation to maintain that road so heavily traveled.

No money for the Mill Road. Plenty of money to study trolley cars though.

Ayd Mill Road is such a short stretch of road, why can’t you close it and fix it. Gezz it is like driving on Swiss Cheese. It has to be the worst in the Twin Cities. It’s like a hub cap graveyard. Please fix Ayd Mill Road. Show it a little love!

It pains me, and my car, to drive on Ayd Mill. Especially right now. Please fix!

They just raised my property taxes in MacGroveland considerably, with what they are getting our roads should be paved in gold! Fix it.

Also Como Avenue off 280 is a terrible mess.

Please fix Ayd Mill! It's such a gift to be able to use this shortline, but I will need new suspension in my car after using it this winter. MaryO is right - we pay exorbitant taxes, the least we can expect is to drive safely on our roads.

Hi! I live in the West 7th neighborhood and commute to the Prospect Park area for work. I always avoid Ayd Mill because of the atrocious condition it is in. It would be great to use this road versus clogging up Lexington Ave (which also has some deteriorating conditions from the traffic) and burdening those residential areas. I also have many co-workers commuting to Prospect Park from Eagan who get off 35E at other points to purposefully avoid Ayd Mill. Prioritizing the maintenance of Ayd Mill for commuters makes a lot of sense for our community. Please help!

I travel to N Mpls from W 7th area and would love to use Ayd Mill - so bad that I won't subject my loved ones or car to the potholes. Please fix!!!

I avoid this road even though it increases my commute by more than 10 minutes - not worth the damage!

I drove Ayd Mill today and will not do it again. The potholes are more like sink holes. I tried to avoid them but that is not possible. Please, please do something.
