Same walks I reported last year and the prior as well. City said they were going to redo them and hasn't gotten around to it yet.

DPW, thanks for the important work you do to keep this city functioning. Any updates on planned repairs/replacement of the sidewalks on Greenwich Ave? They are basically mud paths due to the inundation of the past few weeks! The neighborhood would greatly appreciate some TLC.

Thanks Wes! We could use a little TLC too. Just to clarify - Engineering is responsible for new sidewalks. We at DPW repair trip hazards and other isolated sidewalk damages that are caused by city related damage ie. city tree. Since this is a larger project, the street has been referred to Resource Allocation Committee to review. We will leave issue open/acknowledged.

Wes, once Resource Allocation gets something it goes into a dark hole. Call your alder & stay on top of Allocation Resource. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. If you can multiple people on your street behind you ,all the better to make a loud noise & bigger voting block that will be harder to ignore Apathy is the killer..

I've called and written to our Ward 6 Alderperson. With the street improvements on Sea St and the roundabout, they replaced sidewalks and street for about 100' up 6th... looks beautiful! hopefully, we can see the same continue up the block!
