Agree with Tony, its really not your business who leaves lights on at private property. If this is a construction site, OSHA requires it to be lit 24/7.

Here is an idea, DON'T LOOK AT THE PRETTY LIGHTS! Do you honestly think the UI will say, "oh, this place is buying too much electricity from us... we should tell them to save their money for other things."

Are you annoyed with the your neighbors electric bill or the light entering your windows?

Black out curtains will not only solve the light problem but will make your 'green' side much happier in the form of lower heating/electric bills.

Oh, come on! Give Civic Pride a break. All concerns are relevant. Why are you wasting your energy lambasting them? Maybe the business would actually appreciate knowing this.

They really WERE on nonstop for that long.
And it's too bad, I'm too much of an idealist for having even thought that people wouldn't respond SO hostilely to something that really IS a valid question. Lots of snow day time to pick up a hobby rather than picking on people. Just a thought (which of course I know will be appreciated).
