All the storms this year.. on Morris Cove road i have seen only 1 plow truck per storm! We are going to get a ton of flooding! Please we eed to open it up I cannot pull in my driveway

I think the mayor is waiting for the sun to melt it. Trust me, your street is not the only bad one in the Cove.

You are right! I know there are a lot of streets down here in need! Only wish that once this all melts our basements are not flooded with no help from the thousands we spend on flood insurance every year! Fema checks out hurricane damage they need to check for snow damafe also!

I hear you. I hope you know that "flood" insurance is only good if New Haven Harbor comes flowing through your house- in the back door and out the front door like in New Orleans! :-) Any water in basements from something other than a broken water pipe or a washing machine overflow and you are on your OWN! This flood insurance has become ANOTHER rip off for the most part. Even areas that FEMA considers to be a "flood zone" have never been flooded, but if you have a mortgage, the bank will DEMAND it!
