This white van has been parked in front of the driveway entry to the former Union Bank Building on Hegenberger Rd for many many months. They repeatedly dump illegal things onto our property. They have propane tanks galore. They have an elevator panel hooked up to the electrical pole. The have damaged our wiring. It is a no parking zone. It is so frustrating that no one will do anything to tow this van away. I am sorry the man is living there. I have asked him many times to keep his junk on his own side (the public side) and not put it on our property. The tires that were on a friend of his truck when I went last week are now on our property. I asked him not to dump them. Clearly he did after I left. This is pitiful and expensive.

That van was the catalyst. it was followed by that dilapidated motorhome. As you drive past the school you find an entire homeless camp has sprung up overnight, aided and abetted by illegal dumpers in the wee hours (I got into a confrontation with one, who was OBVIOUSLY not from the area) - This is councilman Larry Reid's district ..feel free to flood his email - lreid@oaklandnet.com this must stop!!!
The van is still there, now with another collection of vehicles. I have emailed Councilmember Reid twice and not even gotten an acknowledgement of receipt of my email. Why is there this reporting service if nothing is ever done?
