    GREEN RECYCLING BINS
I am writing about a new problem for us all: Mercer Co is at long last checking recycling and rejecting incorrect materials. Excellent!
BUT they are also demanding that we use YELLOW recycling bins only. This is impossible. Many of us have GREEN recycling bins (eons ago we were issued one green and one yellow) and don't have enough yellow ones.
Please tell Mercer Co to accept GREEN bins as well!

I put this in "Missed pickup" because there is no opportunity to write a new subject line.

Brush piles (there are quite a few on our block) diligently placed for the scheduled pickup last week were not picked up. We would appreciate them being cleared. Thank you.

The light, important for safety at this intersection near a school, has gone out.
Thank you for attending to this ASAP.

The roadway entrance to Franklin Ave from Walnut Lane has been deliberately narrowed in recent months with mini-curbs: a very unusual roadway condition. While I presume there must have been some well-intended reason for doing this, I consider it potentially dangerous. Cars going north on Walnut, turning right into Franklin, face the following:
--a narrow side road to be entered
--a surprising and unexpected curb on the corner, requiring a sudden swerve to the left
--oncoming traffic coming from the east on Franklin, which is often invisible (due to large SUV's often parked too close to that very corner)
    Potential result: head-on collision.
Please re-examine this corner and consider whether the curb is a good idea.

There is a section on Walnut Street, on the bicycle and school bus route to the middle and high schools, that is in need of repair. It is unbicyclable by the schoolchildren (or by me). Walnut Street, from Hawthorne to Franklin is covered with very bad "repairs" from past work.
Your attention will be greatly appreciated.
