Need some extra sand/salt occasionally and eventually a drain further up the street to catch the water before it all flows down. The ice flow gets wider as the rain/snow/ice/melt/rain/ice cycle continues. Delivery driver today said he almost hit our mailbox and our neighbors as he tried to stop and park on the street.

As requested multiple times for 15 years, the storm drain at the intersection of Fans Rock Road and Leatherman Trail is NOT in the correct place to catch the water that flows down the street after every rain storm and snow melt. So, since it was not moved when the streets were paved a few years back, please remember to come and sand and salt the area every time there is a freeze following rain or melting snow. You can't stop safely at the stop sign and when you are coming into the street, you slide into the opposite side of the street.
  • 239 Fans Rock Rd Hamden, CT, 06518, USA - Hamden
Most of the storm drains along Fans Rock Road are clogged. Especially those closer to the intersection of West Woods Road. Last storm, they all flooded the road. The brush along Fans Rock also needs to be cut back, it is scratching vehicles and impeding the safe passage of the many walkers who need to go on this section to get to other safer streets with side walks or less traffic.
  • 660 State St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Downtown
A Pedestrian Cross Walk Signal is needed at the intersection of Audubon & State so people can safely cross from the Cast Iron restaurant across to the opposite side to head to NOLO or points south. Safety is vital at this wide stretch especially with the increase in residents in the area accessing the wonderful amenities along this corridor.
  • 796 W Woods Rd Hamden, CT, 06518, USA - Hamden
The last 2 storm drains on either side of the street closest to West Woods Road are clogged with leaf and twig debris. Rain last week cause mini river flowing onto West Woods.

Sidewalk and "kneeling" curb at the corner of Exeter and West Woods is a mess, crumbling, tripping hazard. Just something to add on the list for the future.

Street sign is often missed as it's on the opposite side of Westwoods. Especially when visitors are coming form Gaylord Mt. Road. They miss the right hand turn to West Woods Rd. as the sign is on the left and most times blocked by hanging tree limbs or branches. Can one be put on the corner where there is NO obstructions at all?
  • Fans Rock Road Hamden, Connecticut - Hamden
Brush growing densely along Fans Rock Road, needs to be cut back right hand road side from Kelly to Paradise to Westwoods. Many storm drains clogged with debris already.
  • West Woods Rd & Eramo Terrace Hamden, Connecticut - Hamden

Overgrown brush/trees are blocking the 25mph speed limit sign when you pass Eramo on WW heading down to Whitney.

Also, the street sign is skewed...and tilting.
