Community will help spread the chips out in the spa e if we can just get a load brought in. The area becomes muddy and unusable for the dogs when rains come. Redwood chips keep the space cleaner and safer.

When I went in to fill to and seat covers, stall 2 & 3 have broken locks on to holders so we can't fill them. Please replace. Stall 3 has drain clogged so water is puddling. I have locked both doors to prevent usage, but we have large events in the park all weekend that will need more supplies to cover the expected usage.

We provide food service to 80 kids a day and we are in risk of losing this service if we don't have a proper working fridge. We have several work orders on it that resulted in them telling us it needs replacement. R.Davila in OPR approved purchase of a new one and said that OPW should go ahead and buy appropriate appliance and send billables to OPR. This has been in wait for over 1 year now. please push this forward

On Sunday August 7th 2016 OPR will be hosting an SPCA Dog Vet Clinic. I need to locate (if) there is a water access for the hose bib to use the quill we have any where in Grove Shafter park. Please let me know 510-482-7831 (Dimond Rec Office)
Also there is quite a bit of garbage and graffiti around the park that needs cleaning.

The garbage cans have Ben overflowing throughout the parkland and have not been picked up. The issue should not have been closed. -

Presently there are no HOURS posted so OPD needs us to have signage stating 'Dawn to Dusk" and park rules about no drugs, alcohol, prostitution etc would be helpful as well. Other: Incorrect Signs posted ArquivadoNey And Crest Streets Oakland, California - Eastmont HillsKing Estate is all legally off leash areas and so any signs that state NO dogs or Leashed Dogs are incorrect and should be removed. If we have some signs that say please pick up after your dog that would be wonderful. Dogs ARE allowed off leash so please adjust signage as soon as possible.

While the rains are coming down there are serious muddy puddling that makes it quite a mess for the dogs and owners who still need to use the space to exercise their dogs.
Dog owners will gladly spread the chips out if OPW can bring them up and dump them in the middle of the large dog run. -

More trees are needed to prevent the access of off-road vehicles that are destroying the grounds of King Estate Open Space (KEOS). Great progress has eliminated all other access so far but a few more are needed for this last accessible point.
