I almost got run over by a truck barreling down 50+ mph the hill on McCaslin at the North side crosswalk
1) What is law/code enforcement and Town of Superior going to do about this?
2) Why can't electronic signal be put saying "Your speed is XX Slow down."
3) In hindsight, the roundabout was/is a poor design as there are too many blind spots for drivers Anything going to be done about flashing signals on the North side crosswalk?
I have raised this as an issue over half a dozen times Am I only one raising the issue? Am I the only one using the crosswalk?
What is the Action Plan, code/law enforcement and town of Superior?ti

Thank you for submitting this issue. We will share your feedback and experience with law enforcement so they can monitor the area.
To answer your questions, the Town did install a speed radar sign for northbound traffic coming down McCaslin. This sign registers speeds and flashes if cars are going over the speed limit.
We do have flashing crosswalk signs on the south side of the roundabout for pedestrian crossings. This is the side where we typically see higher speeds and more driver and pedestrian conflicts. We will review flashing crossing signage needs on the north side of the intersection.

Is it too much to ask about flashing lights on North side. Additionally, there are a lot of folks who don’t even stop in spite of flashing lights. Again , just because of momentum around the roundabout which I maintain is a poor design.
