Aggravating this issue is the fact South Winding is a popular alternative to nearby Cass Lake Road for motorists traveling north and south between Cass-Elizabeth and Elizabeth Lake roads. The additional volume of traffic compounds the wear and tear on what is already a busy thoroughfare of sorts. Having lived on this avenue in the 1980s my worst memories are of fast-moving lawn cutting rigs clattering noisily mere feet from our front room.

South Winding is awful. There is a huge pot hole just after the school that destroyed my tires yesterday.

This road is terrible, it needs to be repaved and it needs more stop signs. The only thing about the pot holes are that it slows the traffic a little bit. It is so loud and most of the houses aren't more than 20 feef from the road.

My daughter also hit a pot-hole and had to have a tire replaced.

There is a school in the middle of the road at the bottom of a hill. This is not a safe situation for children. People race up and down that road cutting from Cass Eliz. to Eliz.

This Road is still crap.

The road is still crap! No one fixes the holes correctly/properly. I lost a rim last year and don't want to encure that expense again this year.

Requires a vote to pass by 51% of the property owners to get it fixed. They have to pay for it in the form of a special assessment

How does someone ask for a vote? I would pay to have it fixed but no one has ever asked. We need more stop signs or speed bumps to discourage cut through traffic!
