The road has been fixed - THANK YOU! However, the contractors who performed the work were rather inconsiderate. They never notified us ahead of time that we would be blocked in our driveways by a 2 foot wide and very deep trench. They left Gatorade bottles and food wrappers in our yards (some of which are still in my neighbors yards.) Also, the backhoe they used left large and deep dents in our lawns when they set the outriggers down as they progressed up the road to repair the initial problem. It would have been nice for them to pick up after themselves and to repair the damage done to the lawns. As for being trapped in my driveway, they were somewhat easy to work with and made effort to allow my neighbors and myself to come and go, but it still would have been courteous of them to forewarn us ahead of time so we could plan accordingly. Had I known in advance, I would have parked my car in another neighbor's driveway on the opposite side of the road so as to not make them stop their work to let me out.
