This clogged storm drain is a real impediment for people trying to cross George Street on the east side... DPW, is this on the short list of drains to clear?
After the most recent heavy rain, as I
came to the corner of York & George
outside Crown Court, I noticed water
standing about three feet out into
both streets and not moving.
Perhaps all storm drains in the area
were full from the rain; otherwise
it seemed the drain was clogged.
In winter that would have been ice,
dangerous to the many pedestrians
in that block. I hope it can be
cleared before then. York at George,New Haven,CT 06511,USA

this was a new comment added by a different user. another issue popped up (which greg closed - thanks!)
this corner and the Crown Street NorthEast corner have caused seriously problems during rain and snow storms. these 2 corners have feet of sand in them with plants growing out of the one on crown street
