Yes, I agree it desperately needs repaving. The potholes are hidden around the curves and dangerous to not only cars but motorcycles and bicycles.

This street is in really bad shape and certainly a hazard to bicycles who drop down from Grizzly Peak.

I and many other bikers use this. This is the most dangerous street in the neighborhood. Fortunately, I know where the bumps are so I know where to dodge. Others do not. Cyclists have speed on this road because it is downhill. If a cyclist is not careful, he or she will have a bad spill.

Yes..the crappy condition of that road is at least partially responsible for a bad bicycle crash I endured a few years back...

My husband, daughter and I drive walk and cycle this road on a daily basis and it is literally in the worst condition for safety of the users. You have to swerve out to avoid potholes only to hit yet another one or an oncoming car, pedestrian or cyclist. Negligent on the city's part if not repaired soon.

This street is one of the worst in the Claremont Hills, yet it is a vital escape route should there be another fire. It needs to be repaved.

I take this street daily. It is in horrible condition. Since we are so high on the hill, it is the quickest route to access the 24 fwy or Claremont. IT IS IN HORRIBLE CONDITION!

This road is desperately needed to be fixed. The reason it has been not fixed is that Oakland has instituted a new policy of discrimination. It the elevation of your property is too high, the repair will not be funded. It is official city policy to discriminate against anyone living in the hills. It is a policy to funnel funds to the more politically connected. Pure ugly politics. Nothing more.

If you can't repave it all, how about the worst sections?
Maybe the worst 200 ft?
Also, most of the lane striping and botts dots are gone.
