Agreed! My car slides across the ice! Trying to get onto Fans Rock, my car gets stuck for a moment. Sometimes the traffic changes in that moment and now I’m in danger of getting broadsided on Fans Rock!

It has been like this since we moved in, in 2005. I made sure to highlight the issue BEFORE our street was repaved so they could easily move the drain then. Nothing happened. Our daughter at the time was in 8th grade. The bus arrived on Fans Rock one morning, it slid backwards as she slid down to it, almost going under the bus. I called. The bus company said they would call. Nothing. Keep on it! I will take photos soon and mail a copy to the town.

Nothing still done...only had 3 icing events this past winter but it's clear with the recent rain that 3/4 of the water flow misses the drain and freezes up. Such a pain. They should've relocated the drain when they paved the road.
