Broken Sidewalk Acknowledged31 Bromfield St Boston Ma 02108 United States - DowntownThe whole sidewalk is a trip hazard but it was the curb stone towering over the sunken asphalt that caused me to trip and fall into the street. Thank goodness there was no traffic at the time

Graffiti - with an underlying message of hate Acknowledged22-26 Linden Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The Wollaston section (Linden St., Berlin St., Weston Ave.) is once again being targeted by a white supremacist Trump fan who has resumed writing his taunting messages. This time his message is Trump 2020, but he has stepped up from just writing on public sidewalks and streets as he did in the 2016 election season.
He (he was observed doing it) has been using his chalk to deface personal and federal property. He has been writing on U.S. government property (mail boxes) and also private property (fences and doors homes). When our building manager washed off the chalk messages in the morning, the vandal came back hours later and did it again.
I would like the City of Quincy to take ACTION to prevent this hoodlum from making the next two years a hassle for law abiding citizens. We shouldn’t have to keep washing our property nor do we need a constant reminder about the underlying hate evoked in this chalk campaign.
I'll post photos next time (and there will be a next time) the hoodlum does it again.

Sidewalk/Street Repair Acknowledged2 Burgess St Quincy, MA 02171, USA - QuincyThis accessible ramp is becoming a tripping hazard
-
Sidewalk/Street Repair Acknowledged552 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyMissing cover for pipe in street.
-
1250 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyThis Hawk signal system is incredibly unhelpful. As a pedestrian, you are left waiting and waiting and waiting for 1 turn to walk while there is no oncoming traffic. Pedestrians must be first priority and not last.
-
300-346 Congress Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyHaving sidewalks imply that this area anticipates pedestrians walking on said sidewalks and yet they do not offer crosswalks for said pedestrians.
-
Traffic Signal (Lights) Acknowledged276-286 Thomas Burgin Parkway Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyThe crosswalk signal is too short, you barely step off the curb and the signal changes from solid white to flashing orange and you need to cross 4 lanes of traffic to reach the other sidewalk at Quincy Adams T station.
-
Linden St Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincyand more potholes -- at a minimum I spotted 13 potholes on Linden St. and Berlin St. And since the streetlight at that corner has been out of service for more than a month, these potholes are more dangerous for pedestrians if they don't carry a flashlight.

Street Lights Acknowledged381 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyThis streetlight is in front of the North Quincy branch of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
-
Street Lights out - first reported 12/13/17 Acknowledged28 Linden Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyWhy is it taking so long to fix this street light? Look at how dark this area is and there is a lot of pedestrian foot traffic as well as motor vehicles. Please fix this street light.

Snow Plowing - Try Again. Acknowledged511r Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyThis is the entrance used by residents at Fenno House as well as many dozens of residents in this section of Wollaston who walk to Big Y Supermarket. The person(s) who cleared this entrance obviously has not compassion for the elderly or physically challenged. They did not clear the wider entrance between the two yellow poles, thus a personal shopping cart cannot be rolled through this entry. Seriously, why is commonsense as well as a little compassion too much to expect?

Hancock St. sidewalks are only sporadically cleared Acknowledged547-549 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Now that Wollaston Station is closed, there will be many commuters walking to the MBTA shuttle stop at Hancock/Woodbine, today I had to walk in the street on Hancock because large swathes of sidewalk were not cleared.
My difficulties began at the corner of Linden and Hancock and all the way through the USPS truck garage. Prime Oil did nothing to clear their sidewalks but rather plowed snow onto their sidewalks.
How is Quincy able to consider itself a walkable city when you can’t even walk on its sidewalks?

511r Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - QuincyThis pathway is not only used by the many residents in the area of Linden, Berlin and Weston Ave. it is also the safest route for the seniors residing at Fenno House. Who is responsible for plowing this path including the shortcut into the Big Y shopping plaza? This is the same problem every winter, amnesia strikes and everyone forgets that there are people (including many seniors) who just want to go to the store without injury.
