dennis & david~ 418 lincoln has been boarded up by the city. former occupants are completely banned from the property. official postings are stapled across the front of the house with various dates re: compliance; one of which is insect/rodent issues.
from what i can understand, the property is ‘in process’ with the city, there may be city liens against the property etc. zero idea how long the ‘process’ will take but given this has been a pita and 20+ year nemesis on this block (for you newbies) if the house is turned and sold by end if 2019, some of us are content with the state of things (as ugly as they are) for a bit longer. code compliance is already on all of this, i believe. you may want to consider calling the city directly to get an accurate accounting of the what’s happening and on what timeline. complaining to code compliance at this point may be redundant, though i may be incorrect. thanks for voicing your concerns! hope this helps.

the wonderful west end neighborhood of alameda, home to the parrot village housing project on chapin street whose occupants regularly abuse drugs and blast rap music at 400 plus decibels so loud that you can hear it all the way from atlantic avenue on the other side of jean sweeney park. alameda's repository for its most upstanding model citizens. haha
i was calling police today to report all the degenerates at parrot village blasting their horrible violent profane rap music and the dumb dispatcher was giving me attitude and telling me im rude for pointing out that the reason no one else complains about the noise around there is because literally almost all of the west end is populated by almost nothing but undesirable uneducated rejects from oakland. everyone who is actually from here knows this is 100% true.
